Hey, it’s shake-it Monday. A good start is half the work. Lets start this brand new week with some vitamins.

I’m cheating a little, because I’m using crystallized ginger for this shake. I haven’t tried, but you could give it a go with fresh ginger, for the perfect healthy start this week ;).

Mango Strawberry & Ginger Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 3 minutes


  • 1 cup chopped peeled mango
  • 1 cup hulled strawberries
  • 3/4 cup crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup vanilla low-fat yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 teaspoons minced crystallized ginger
  • 2 teaspoons honey


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix until well-blended. Pour into 2 glasses.
