It was my plan to blog three times a week. Monday: Juicy- or shake-it-Monday. Wednesday a juice pulp recipe. Preferably one from the Monday-pulp. And Friday another recipe. It can be anything. From pasta to dessert, something healthy to a guilty pleasure, from sweet to savory and so on. Waiting till Friday with sharing this mindblowing-super-yummie treat? Don't think so!
I've never been to crazy about nut butters. Actually I mean: peanut butter as a child. A school lunchbox with peanut butter + regular butter sandwiches. Bbbbbrrrrr
Recently I experimented quite a bit with pulp. As you might have guessed: this doesn't mean that everything works out... I am convinced, that I have to be able make a good pulp recipe for jam. It didn't work out just yet, but I'll hold on a little longer. Tips? Anyone ... ??!
I used to make roasted vegetables all the time. It’s a real taste explosion if you ask me! These fries are like that, just a different way of preparing. It’s the healthy variation of fries. And so easy to make.
Nothing better than home made sauces! I have never made mayonnaise before, but it's really not as difficult as I thought. Or I was scared to use raw eggs > use fresh eggs. Anyhow... it's sooooo worth it!
Also very nice without the pulp, just with avocado!
There is one juice that I drink most of the time: the ultimate juice, the detoxer, green juice, the kick-my-ass and wake- me-up-before-we-go-go juice. This juice contains apple, cucumber, ginger, lemon and wheatgrass. I usually drink it 2-3 times a week in the morning. Half a litre ... I've been so into pulp recipes, but didn't use this pulp before... I know, it was about time I'd come up with something that suits this pulp. And now it's here: the spread!
Use almond flour if you don't have almond pulp
Not long ago, I blogged about how to (easily!) make almond milk with a slowjuicer. Of course an almond pulp recipe followed soon after that > cookies! This was a nice first try-out, but I was sure I could find a better version or develop one. I found this almond pulp chocolate chip bars
Breakfast with creme brûlée? Say WHAT??! You can wake me up for a creme brûlée. That crunchy layer, lukewarm, mini bites with a mini spoon that makes me enjoy it as long as possible.
This soup is one of my favorites (this pumpkin soup with orange thyme is my other favorite). I've so many special memories eating or making this soup. Obviously it's always during cosy autumn or winter days. With the loveliest people. My first memory of this soup was with my previous boyfriend Jurriaan. Jur made the soup for me and his ex-girlfriend F.
I'm a big fan of almond milk and recently discovered you can make it with a slowjuicer. And lots of it too (in compared with a cheese cloth). It wouldn't be me not figuring out what to do whit the almond pulp. These almond pulp cookies are my first trials and I'm sure I can figure out more options! Yes >>
